Pinkfresh Studio January card release blog hop

This time my assignment was to work with the Art Deco Foil plate. That was my favorite, but I love the Brighter Days collection too with the beautiful flower deigns, so I combined the two. I made a set of cards. It is as set as I used the Brighter Days flowers on both and I also used the same colors. 

I used a teal color foil for foiling with the Brighter Days foil plate and I also foiled the reverse of it for those beautiful teal flowers. Amazing!! Let the solid foil plate heat up really well, push the timer at least twice...your aim is to overheat it! This was you get the best results. 

 

I cut the teal foiled flowers with the coordinating die, but I did  not cut the white ones, as it is easier to color them on one piece. It was so long that I colored something using alcohol markers, so I went for it this time. I chose the colors teal, blues, yellows, and orange. Never tried this combination but I love it, it cheers me up!

Of course you can always use the stencils that come along with the Brighter Days stamps, dies, foil plate family! 

As the base of the colored flowers I used another new release product that is truly a must have and you will se me using it over and over, this is the Sparkling Diamonds die, cover plate. I gives beautiful texture! I placed the flowers over it as they would create a flower bunch. The sentiment is a new release product as well, called Fancy Script Words hot foil plates and coordinating dies. 

The second card's base it foiled using rose gold foil and the Art Deco foil plate. I looooove flowers combined with geometric design, so a fav product for sure. This time I used the coordinating stencils to color the triangles and squares. I stick with the yellow, teal, orange combination and the teal foiled flowers look gorgeous on it. 

Fuff them up for more dimension fun!
