Pinkfresh Studio December 2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release

I created a card set using the Poppy Mix cling stamp and coordinating Stencils. For embellishing I used a sentiments and coordinating dies from the Floral Border Stamp set, and the Lots Of Love hot foil plate.

I stamped the Poppy Mix beautiful illustration with the Black Detail ink. I was thinking a while what colors I should use. I was sure I will make a more realistic one with red for the poppies and green for the leaves, and try a more imaginative one.

This a really detailed, intricate, but so very beautiful design. It might be a bit intimidating for beginners, but the stencils are so helpful and the end results are just stunning.

The poppies on the first stencil are all the bigger ones, so I blended them in a way that there is a color variation in them. I used the colors Persimmon and Candy apple for the flowers on the first stencil, darker in the middle and ligther on end of the petals.

For the other poppies I used Peach Fuzz and Persimmon, fo rthe little daisies Candy Apple. The greens are: Fresh Pear, Olive and Evergreen.

I think the key is to blend them a bit different, so there are only 3 shades but they have different depth and liteness. You can blend them with the same color as well, but in the case blend some of it lighter, and the other darker. Make it interesting ♥
