Pinkfresh Studio March 2023 Washi, Stamp, Die, and Stencil Release

március 27, 2023

Hello dear crafty
Friends! Thank you for joining m
e for the Pinkfresh Studio March Card Release Blog Hop!

If you’re hopping along with us, you should have arrived here from Andrea Moritz and your next stop is Anne Fiene but, if this is your starting point, I’d like to invite you to start from → Pinkfresh Blog.
Clicking the direct link will take you directly to the full list on this hop. You can find the all the other Links at the end of this post!

My assignment was to work with the Tuberose Stamp and Stencil set, along with the coordinating dies. This set is much more beautiful than you would first think. Of course there is a coordinating washi roll, but I always like to work with stamps as I can create my own color variations.

There will be a Reel on the Pinkfresh IG soon, so will have a peek into my process, but it was quite easy. I choose colors that are close to the real flowers. I used Lemon Whip for the yellows, Ballet Slipper and Sparkling Rose and a bit of Sky Blue. The orange comes from blending in the yellow and rose at some places. The greens are Fresh Pear and Olive. I couldn't resist to add some blue too, and it gives a bit of freshness to them.

I blended the cardbase using the same ink colors, a bit of yellow, sore and blue on every side, but very lightly, more on the sides. I waned to add a hint of color to the background.

I cut some panels with the Rounded & Braides Rectangles (the smallest one) and arranged them on the card front in a way, that all of them "look" in a different way and they fall off the card panel. I needed only 3 braided rectangle for the card. The flowers are on these panels, raised with foam tape. The sentiment is from the Foiled Sentiment ephemera.

I hope you like it!
Don't miss tomorrow's IG hop!! I made a very flowery somewhat unusual card that will be a perfect project for the upcoming Mother's Day! ♥
