My assignment involved working with the Floral Square Frame Press Plate and coordinating die. I just love the simple elegance of a card created with these beautiful designs. You just ink up the plate that is placed on the Spellbinders Betterpress Letterpress System, run it through the diecut machine with some beautiful paper and voila, you have a pure, clean, elegant, timeless design. You don't really need anything else! It is effortless and sophisticated!
But of course I wanted to show you some options that you can do with a design like this. Don't miss tomorrow's IG hop, because there I show you a different approach with a lot of sparkle!
I used two stamping colors, these are the Cosmic Sky and Mulberry from the Spellbinders BerrtPress inks. I used them on the Pinkfresh Studio watercolor paper. Works beautifully. I diecut the images and used them as it is, split in two, and vour pieces, arranged on different card shapes.
I am sneakpeeking the upcoming new Pinkfresh watercolors on two of the cards. I was testing them on these carda a little bit, just coloring parts of the design. So gorgeous, right? The blue and colors with the design reminds me of Hungarian folk embroidery motifs, that is why I choose these colors. Look! Love them!
