This time, I wanted to create something a little special. I remembered that Yasmine (@cardsandcraftsbyyaz) once made a beautiful project — a card holder with a little card inside — and I took inspiration from that memory. I decided to make a see-through card so I could feature the new Pinkfresh acetate. The best part is that this card can still be flattened to fit perfectly into an envelope.
I cut two card panels using the Octagon Grid die, plus an extra one from shiny gold cardstock. Then I adhered a piece of acetate to the back of each white panel and embellished them with the gold cut-out pieces for a touch of shine.
Next, I took a scrap piece of cardstock and scored it four times at ¼" intervals. I cut along the fourth score line and accordion-folded it. Finally, I trimmed the edges at an angle so I could adhere it between the two acetate panels — this way, it forms a little card holder that still folds flat for mailing.
I embellished the front with those gorgeous washi peonies and a lovely sentiment from the Peony Glow stamp set.
The REEL on my process is already on Pinkfresh IG account: You can watch it here!
