Hello Ladies! Anett here! This is a Mixed-Media Monday layout that I have created with the February Hip Kits using the Color Kit.
I am just in love with the gorgeous colors in this kit. I love the Puffy Frames from Pinkfresh Studio and I was determined to create something with them. I love contemporary art and my background was inspired by art.
As you see I used the colors of the frames in the background.
The light pink, or more soft lilac is made with the Nuvo Embellishment Mousse from the February color kit. This product is so versatile. Here I simply used a wide flat dry brush, dipped it in the mousse and made some strokes. I love how the bristles of the brush can be seen.
The yellowish-gold is painted with the Lindy’s Magical – Martina’s Marigold. The blue is Lindy’s Magical Jana’s Jade. They are from the 2019 December Color Kit.
I put some paint powder in some water and used a big dry brush to paint the strokes. There is nothing difficult here, just pull some strokes, and leave it. Don’t overwork it, I think that is the main point.

The bright pink is Lindy’s Magical – Raspberry Lemonade – such a beautiful bright color from 2020 February Color Kit.
All the colors have a wonderful shine, they sparkle in the light. So sorry, you cannot really see on the photos, well maybe a little bit 🙂
After it dried I took a thick alcohol marker and added some dots. This gives lovely contrast to the soft colors.
I used a circle shaped photo with my husband and little sun, back at 2013. April.
I put the frames on the background to on tone, and also embellished them tone on tone.
I hope you like how it turned out. I know it is a little different, but I love to do different, always looking for new technics, new designs to try. Makes me excited and happy to try something new! How about you? ♥
