Pinkfresh Studio July release Blog Hop - Mixed-media slimline cards

Here we are, another awesome release from Pinkfresh Studio! So many beauties! ♥♥♥

I was so lucky to be assigned to work with the Painted Peony stencils. I am sure that you remember the beautiful Painted Peony washis, stamp set and coordinating dies! Now you can grab the stencil set to the stamps, that let you create the same beautiful peony illustration but in your own color ideas. The inks blending through the stencils is so easy and the results are stunning.    

I stamped with the Painted Peony Stamp Set using Stargazer Premium inks twice. One I just left uncolored, and cut using the coordinating dies (all images at once, so easy, love it!)

The other stamped image is colored using the Painted Peony Stencil set and Pinkfresh Studio Premium Inks - Sky Blue, Storm, Sunshine, Coral Reef. The stencil set has 6 stencils altogether. I used the last one that has small, intricate details for adding little gold accents with a gold pen.  

I created a slimline card set using the die cut floral ephemera. I used another fresh released product the Slimline Heart Builder for creating small harts on the card base with structure paste. Next I splattered with Stargazer ink and gold ink for a beautiful mixed-media look. I added my title using one of the sentiments from the Painted Peony Stamp set. I stamped directly on the base, and made second and third generations stamping. That means I simply stamped three-for times without inking the stamp again, and this ways the image got lighter and lighter. Also a well used technique in mixed-media. 

  

I arranged the die cut peonies in lovely clusters added some oh so beautiful gold foiled  butterflies, that are foiled on vellum paper. These are my favorites the small butterflies stamps, stencils, hot foil plates and coordinating dies that cut all butterflies at once!! LOVE!!!  

I foiled with mat gold foil. They are so so gorgeous and so easy to make! You create 9 butterflies on one go, cut them all at once, and you have always some left over to grab quickly for another project. This is exactly what I did to make my second card. I hope you like this idea ♥♥♥
