Today I am introducing the Cherry Bliss product suite. This 3-piece product suite offers a a cute stamp set, a 1-piece die for the image and two dies for the big sentiments and layering stencils.
This design is just so lovely, it immediately caught my eye and wanted to work with it. I wanted to do the ink blending on the cherries. On one side I added Raspberry Bliss and a Bit of Candy Apple, and on the other side some Bay Leaf. I love creating gradients. For the leaves I used Bay Leaf, Grassy Knoll and Aquamarine.
Well I am sure that there is a specific name for this type of card, but I just cannot remember it, so sorry guys :D The card lays flat is you push it together and pops up, when you pull it out of the envelope.
It is created from a 5 1/2 x 9 inch paper. It is scored at 2" on the long side - on the left side 2" from the right side. I just turn the paper and score it on both sides at 2".
Next do the same but score it on 3 1/4 - turn and 3 1/4 again.
After folding it should look like mine. I decorated it with the Scalloped Grid Die cutout, and two sets of the cherries. I think it looks really springy and cheerful. ♥
