Pinkfresh Studio “The Daydream Edit” Release Blog Hop

Today I’m happy to introduce the beautiful Celebrate in Blooms stamp, stencil, and die set. There is also a coordinating washi roll in the collection, but for these cards I chose to work with the stamped images and color them with the matching stencil set.

The designs feature gorgeous, detailed floral arrangements that can be used in so many different ways. For my card set, I used only half of the large floral image to show just how versatile this set can be. You can easily create different looks from the same design.

I stamped the images in black ink, then added color with ink blending in two different color combinations.

For the second card, featuring the large bouquet on the front, I used these ink colors:
Ballet Slipper, Sunshine, Peach Fuzz, Bubble Gum, Begonia, Sage, Olive, Sky Blue

Both cards were created with a card base measuring 9 1/2" x 4 1/4".
I scored the base at 2" and 7 1/2", then folded the sides inward to create two front panels with a 1 1/2" opening in the center when closed.

I cut some lacy edges using The Stitch Edit: Heritage Lace die set  - to decorate the openings. They fit the blooms in style so much!

To keep the doors neatly closed, I created a belly band around the card. I decorated one band with the large floral bouquet, and the other with a sweet sentiment on a layered oval.

I love how elegant and interactive these cards turned out, and how beautifully the florals frame the special fold design.
