Grid layout with die cut tags

május 25, 2020

Hi scrappy friends! I love die cuts and Pinkfresh Studio has some really awesome dies. It is common that mainly card designers use these dies, but I just love to play with them, and as my mind works, I want to incorporate everything in a layout :D  And believe me everything can be incorporated on a layout!

I love the idea of the Fillable Tag with Pocket Die Set. I was released just before Christmas, and it can be used for gift tags, but you see, how I used it on a layout! It is versatile and I am sure it looks great on cards too.

My link brings you to the Pinkfresh online shop. If you purchase something through my Affiliate links, I receive a small comission, that helps me to to create more creative content for you. Using these links does not mean any additional cost for you. Thank you for your support ♥

The dies look like this. I made some examples for you. First you die cut the tag shape, and then you can leave it as it is, or use some of the filler dies, to make cut some lovely shapes.
The other square die is the pocket, that can be decorated with the fillers to. I used vellum for my pockets, and it turned out beautiful. I also made my pocket a little shorter.
The little circles are for hole reinforcement rings. I used red cardstock and it looks awesome on my tags.

So I made my lovely tags, and embellished them with Pinkfresh Studio Super Cool collections goodies.
Than I used a ruler to plan the grid for the tags, I used We R Memory Keepers - Crop-A-Dile, Big Bite to make may holes. It is a useful tool for scrapbookers, who like to do layout like this. Actually I made two holes under each other. This way I can bind the tag with a thread to my layout. They can be removed, and they dangle on the layout.

I used my sewing machine to sew along the edges. I have some really pretty embroidery programs, so I tried this one, and I like the result.
I made my title using the Super Cool alphas, and sew through them.
I became a clean, and happy layout. Super Cool!

Watch my short process video here! ♥♥♥

I hope you feel inspired, and cannot wait to start creating!
By, have a lovely day!

xx Anett
